Music on the Moon

Imagine sitting on the great moon that decorates the night sky, its celestial ambiance stealing the glory of the night, as the stars fight for attention the moon naturally holds.
Is the scene upon which you sit in a cold and quiet world, or is there a chaos of the cosmos stirring your soul in your chest?
Is it silent? Or too quiet, quiet enough to hear your heartbeat as you stare into the abyss, an abyss that feels superior to your small, mortal form.
Would the silence be infinite, or would sound eventually travel to your ears? Would the silence break at the sound of your singing voice, or would the loudness of the silence envelope it away?
Do the stars, with their beating hearts of flame contest your voice with their symphonies? Or do they listen somberly as you sing?
Do they fall across the sky to worship the music, or do they die in desperate attempts to reach you?
Are they quiet, or can you hear their shadow in the night, as a robber comes to steal their neighbor's light?
Do the sister stars shrink in comparison of the eldest, the massive moon, or do they shriek in an attempt to be heard from shadow they reside behind?
Starling seeds spread symphonies in a galaxy of gardens, and yet, you linger on the moon. A simple stage, as an audience to their music, while you sing your celestial song with spirit that lingers in space long gone.
Moonlit Serenade
-By Maya Sinclair
Under the velvet cloak of night,
the moon shines with radiant might.
Its silver beams, a haunting tune,
weaving stories of love's fortune.
In its soft glow, silhouettes dance,
a ballet of shadows that entrance.
Whispers of secrets, forever concealed,
as the moon murmurs its truths revealed.
Oh, moonlit serenade, enchant the sky,
your celestial song, a lullaby.
For in your gentle caress, dreams take flight,
imbuing the night with magic's light.
Stellar Symphony
-By Benjamin Frost
Stars, like scattered notes celestial,
compose the symphony nocturnal.
Twinkling harmonies fill the air,
a celestial orchestra beyond compare.
Each radiant star a luminary note,
in the cosmic score, it finds its devote.
Constellations dance, a celestial waltz,
painting the expanse with cosmic swaths.
The melody of the Milky Way,
soothes the soul, keeps darkness at bay.
We gaze upon this cosmic display,
and in awe, we find solace and stay.
